I’ve always thought that watching TV in bed is a bit of a luxury. There’s nothing better than enjoying a glass of wine and a few chocolates as well, sheer bliss. Unfortunately not so long ago my husband became very ill and had to spend most of his time in bed recovering. We did have a small television set in the bedroom, however it was quite old and didn’t always work properly.

We read on the internet all about a fabulous TV bed and decided to buy one. This would solve the problem of hubby spending so long in the bedroom getting angry with the old unreliable TV set.

We are absolutely delighted with both the bed and the inbuilt television. At a touch of the remote control the television magically rises up giving us a brilliant picture with first class sound. With the screen being quite slim it is great to watch it appear from the foot of the bed. My husband is overjoyed with his new gadget and seems to be making a rapid recovery.

This TV bed has made such a difference not only to my husband but our children too. We all pile onto the bed to watch our favourite programmes, while at the same time relaxing and being so comfortable on the bouncy mattress. During the day when the kids are at school my hubby plugs in his laptop to the television and does a bit of work and I am sure plays games too. This is a sure fire way in realising he is getting much better, all thanks to this wonderful innovative TV bed.

We chose a king size bed as we always like to have plenty of space when sleeping. The TV bed provides the ultimate in luxury and comfort, giving my husband the rest he needs on his way back to getting better. I am sure he will soon be on his feet, however secretly I think he thoroughly enjoys being pampered and being looked after so much.

Once he recovers, every chance we get I know we shall be relaxing on the bed watching TV enjoying a great film. I just love the way it opens up at the foot of the bed, so smoothly and quietly.

The kids love it that much that they want one too, so we might have to do a bit of saving. It would be a good idea as their rooms are slightly small and both contain free standing TVs. The only problem may be that we mightn’t see them as much. If my husband is anything to go by they will probably spend hours lying on their beds watching their favourite programmes or playing computer games.

I for one would certainly recommend buying a TV bed. It’s brought us a new dimension in fantastic home entertainment. We’re spending so much time together relaxing when the kids are asleep, watching TV shows. It’s not only a fabulous TV set but a great piece of comfortable furniture too.
